If selected to volunteer, I will support the mission of Life After Life through my words and actions. Volunteers receive no financial compensation from Life After Life for their service. Life After Life will not be held responsible for any accident, injury or loss that occurs in the course of volunteering. Volunteers will regard all assignments as a serious commitment and will notify Life After Life of any anticipated absence or cancellation as soon as possible. Volunteers will dress comfortably, but conservatively: Jeans; a solid long- or short-sleeved t-shirt; and athletic (tennis) shoes OR business casual attire is appropriate for most volunteer projects. All tobacco products - including smoked and smokeless tobacco and electronic cigarettes - are banned from all Life After Life events. Life After Life prohibits the possession or use of dangerous weapons at any event, but may be kept in a locked privately owned vehicle with a license to carry. Volunteers will respect the absolute confidentiality of all client information. Volunteers will maintain professionalism 0at all times. Volunteers will not give rides, money, gifts, food or snacks to anyone without receiving prior staff approval. All projects are developed, and volunteers assigned, based on the need for a specific number needed. Any volunteer under the age of 16 must be accompanied by parent or guardian. Volunteers will sign-in at the beginning and sign-out at the end of each shift.
